Pay & Benefits
Kick-start your career with nucleargraduates.
This is the only programme of its kind in the energy sector. Here can you train towards your chosen professional discipline across three UK–based projects and an international secondment too. All work and training is aligned to a relevant Chartered Institute. It offers the chance to work across the entire nuclear sector including; decommissioning, energy supply, defence, supply chain, nuclear processing and logistics.
But aside from around 300 hours of exceptional training and support in our new training centre, nucleargraduates can also look forward to:
- golden ‘Hello’ (taxable in 1st pay packet)
- salary circa £24,000
- 25 days holiday a year, plus Bank Holidays
- six days discretionary study leave
- a professional development mentor from day one
- a career mentor from day one.
nucleargraduates contribute 10% of their time to help the communities in which they work. So you’ll also get the chance to make a difference through a variety of voluntary work. But you’ll be paid for your time and given professional support that will help you develop even more new skills.
The most important benefit of this scheme will become apparent when you complete it. As a nucleargraduate, you’ll have developed skills very few other graduates have. You’ll have made more contacts and had more experience of the industry than almost any other trainee. This means it’s likely that you’ll have offers of employment from a broad choice of our companies. It’s an outstanding way to start your career.
