Worldwide

As a nucleargraduate, you’ll find the opportunity to work in a variety of worldwide locations – from an engineering design house in India to a power station in the United States (who are going through similar decommissioning challenges that the UK faces now).

The United States has traditionally had a high level of performance from its 100+ nuclear reactors, which provides almost 20% of the electricity needed for its population of over 300,000,000, people. There are a number of key companies that have concentrated their control of both their ownership and operation following deregulation. With the extension of site licenses and the potential for new build, the US offers a useful parallel with the UK.
