Footprint Days and Community Projects

Footprint Days

We want nucleargraduates to leave a positive legacy behind them in all they do. That’s why we’ve created Footprint Days. This is time that is dedicated to getting you involved in the wider world in which you work.

These days will be an integral part of your training. They’ll involve visits to government buildings, community groups and schools. This will give you the opportunity to prepare for the challenges you’ll face when you take on bigger community projects.

Community Projects

The footprints programme continues with project work. Projects might include engaging children with physics, through to offering bid–writing support for local community groups. You might help to champion an environmental project or assist a small business with their end of year budgeting.

Whatever it is you’re doing, you’ll be giving something back to the communities that support our industry. And they’ll be giving you an education in how taking responsibility really matters.
